Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I book my wedding date for makeup?

Many brides book their wedding day up to a year in advance to ensure that their date is available. However, if your date is just a few months, or even a few weeks away, I'll do my best to accommodate you. Contact me as soon as possible and I'll see what I can do.

When should I book my makeup trial?

It's best to book your trial run 4-6 weeks in advance. As with weddings, my calendar fills up quickly. I suggest booking your trial on a special day, so that you can show off your beautiful look.  Many brides will book their trial on the day of their bridal shower, engagement shoot or dress fitting, to take advantage of the professional makeup job. However, you can also just schedule it when it's most convenient for you, perhaps before a night out or for no particular occasion.

What is involved in a makeup trial and how long will it take?

On the day of your trial, we will discuss different looks and the details of your wedding. Your makeup trial will include everything from prepping your skin, to applying your lashes, to creating your signature wedding look. Allow an hour to an hour and a half to make sure we acheive the perfect look for your big day.

Do you stay for the entire wedding?

After the bridal makeup is complete, along with that of any bridesmaids or moms, my work is done. However, I am always happy to stay for touch-ups at a rate of $40 per hour with a two hour minimum. That covers everyone who received makeup from me that day. If you don't require me to stay, I can provide a custom touch-up kit at a great price.
